The Sainsbury's Centre for Visual Arts was designed by Foster & Partners and commissioned by main contractor Kier Eastern. The brief was to replace 30-year-old partitioning with a system capable of fitting in with a visually aesthetic solution which was in-keeping with the existing architectural style.

The demands of supplying architectural partitioning solutions within a visual arts centre environment meant that only the highest standards of design and functionality would be acceptable – especially when delivering to the standards of Norman Foster and Kier. From the start of the design phase, Norwood worked in partnership to create unique modular steel & glass partitions throughout the building, which were fitted on-site by Norwood fitters. Bespoke doorsets provided the ultimate finish.
